Asayish arrest 26 wanted individuals in Raqqa
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) announced on Sunday conducting a large-scale security campaign in the city of Raqqa in northern Syria.
The operation resulted in the arrest of 26 wanted individuals, including drug traffickers.
The Asayish stated that their forces pursued the wanted individuals and those in hiding, managing to apprehend 26 individuals accused of various criminal offenses.
The Asayish added that three major drug traffickers were captured among the wanted individuals after clashes.
During the operations, unlicensed weapons were found and seized, including rifles, a handgun, ammunition magazines, and a defensive grenade, the statement read in Arabic.
