Locals find bodies of 4 men in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Locals found on Thursday at dawn bodies of four men in the countryside of Daraa, southern Syria, after they were arrested the day before by the Syrian government forces.

A local source told North Press that locals found the bodies of Obeida al-Balkhi, Omran al Musalma, Wadah al-Ghalab, and Ammar al-Atta in the town of Mahajjah in the north of Daraa.

The Air Force Intelligence of the government forces had arrested the men at a checkpoint in the town of Sheikh Maskin in the north of Daraa before killing them, according to the source.

The bodies had marks of close-range gunshot wounds and were taken to the National Hospital in the city of Izraa in the north of Daraa to be identified by their relatives.

The source added that the four men hailed from the Lajat area in the east of Daraa and had no military affiliation with any party.
