Iran militias attacks injure 83 American soldiers in Syria, Iraq
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – The U.S. Department of Defense announced on Monday that 83 of its soldiers were injured since October 2023.
Two of them have been diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries after a ballistic missile attack by Iranian-backed militias on an Iraq base over the weekend.
Since the Israel-Hamas war in October 2023, American bases in Syria and Iraq have been targeted by Iran-backed militias 151 times, an official at the Pentagon said.
U.S. bases in Syria and Iraq are frequently targeted by the Iranian-backed militia with the U.S. military stating that Iran supports those formations.
