IRGC says 4 members killed in Israeli airstrike in Damascus
DAMASCUS, Syria (North Press) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Saturday the killing of four of its members in an Israeli airstrike on the Mezzeh neighborhood in the Syrian capital Damascus.
Tasnim, a semi-official Iranian news agency, reported the IRGC Public Relations Department said in a statement that four Iranian military advisers were killed in the airstrike.
Earlier Reuters reported that the airstrike targeted a multi-story building used by Iranian advisers.
Syria’s state-run news agency SANA stated that an Israeli strike targeted a residential building in the Mezzeh neighborhood.
According to Reuters, the attack was carried out with precision-targeted missiles and resulted in the destruction of a multi-story building in the Mezzeh neighborhood.
