Unidentified gunmen attack SDF posts in Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – Unidentified gunmen carried out on Thursday night several attacks against headquarters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir ez-Zor countryside, eastern Syria.
A military source of the SDF in Deir ez-Zor said that the gunmen targeted an SDF headquarters in the town of Abu Hammam in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor with machine guns. Clashes broke out between the two parties, forcing the gunmen to flee.
On Jan. 15, unidentified gunmen launched attacks on posts of the SDF in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
Another attack took place by unidentified individuals on a military checkpoint of the SDF near the bank of the Euphrates River in the village of al-Jnenah, north of Deir ez-Zor, the source added.
Unknown gunmen targeted an SDF headquarters on the vicinity of the village of Jamma in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor with an RPG shell.
