Power station restored in Syria’s Tel Tamr – AANES official
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – An official in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) said on Saturday that they have restored the power station in the town of Tel Tamr in northern Hasakah Governorate, northeastern Syria.
On Friday, the station went out of service after being shelled by Turkish artillery.
Azad Mustafa, the official responsible for electricity distribution in Hasakah, said that Turkish shelling caused damage to the 66-kV transmission line that supplies the station in the village of Umm al-Keif, west of Tel Tamr.
The official added to North Press that they have restored the power supply to Tel Tamr and its surrounding villages.
