Government downs 7 drones of opposition in Syria’s Aleppo, Hama
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that Syrian government forces had shot down seven drones belonging to ‘terrorists’ in several areas in the countryside of Hama Governorate, in west central Syria, and Aleppo Governorate, northwestern Syria.
Areas in northwestern Syria continue to witness mutual shelling between government forces and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS, formerly al-Nusra Front), resulting in casualties on both sides.
The Ministry of Defense stated on its official Facebook page that units of government forces shot down seven drones “launched by terrorist organizations on the surrounding safe villages and towns.” By doing so, the units “prevented them from achieving their goals.”
