SDF arrests drug trafficker in Syria’s Raqqa
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Tuesday the arrest of a drug dealer and the seizure of a quantity of marijuana in Raqqa Governorate, northern Syria.
The SDF Media Center stated that the SDF found around 120 kilograms of marijuana after raiding the home of an individual involved in drug trafficking in the city of Raqqa.
As a result of the raiding operation, the involved individual was arrested and the drugs were confiscated.
“Drug trafficking is a form of a special warfare targeting the military forces and society,” an official in the SDF said.
