The same base, that is located in the village of Kharab al-Jir in the countryside of Rmelan, was formerly hit by rockets. The Pentagon, at the time, accused Irannian-backed militias of launching them on the background of the Israel-Hamas war.

Last week, there were no attacks on the US bases in both Syria and Iraq in coincidence with the truce in announced in Gaza (Israel-Hamas war).
