ISIS reveals toll of operations in Syria, Iraq, Africa, Asia

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – The Islamic State (ISIS) revealed on Friday the toll of attacks it claimed to have carried out in Syria, Iraq, as well as regions in Africa and Asia last week.

Al-Naba, an online ISIS-linked newspaper, reported that ISIS militants carried out seven attacks in Syria last week, four of which were in areas controlled by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and three in areas controlled by government forces, killing and injuring 19 individuals.

The newspaper stated that ISIS militants targeted the Iraqi army in northern Baghdad, Saladin, Kirkuk, Diyala, and Dijlah, killing and injuring eleven people, and destroying three vehicles.

In West Africa, the group killed and injured 16 people, while in an eastern Asian state, an attack resulted in six deaths and injuries.

Lately, ISIS’ activities and risk have record a significant increase despite the operations carried out by the US-led Global Coalition and its partner forces to defeat the group.
