4 People Injured in Syria’s Kobani After Earthquake
KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – The city of Kobani, northern Syria, recorded, at dawn on Monday, four injuries as a result of the earthquake that struck Syria and Turkey, in addition to property damage.
An earthquake struck Syria and Turkey at 04:17 am this morning. Its epicenter was recorded near Gaziantep, in Turkey’s south.
The Syrian National Earthquake Center (NEC) said that the earthquake struck north of the city of Iskenderun, on the Turkish coast, with a magnitude of 7.7, while Tartus, on the Syrian coast, recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4.
A medical source in Kobani Hospital said that four people were injured in the earthquake.
The Ministry of Health of the Syrian government announced the death of 326 people and the injury of 1.042 in Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Tartus, with fears that casualties will rise.
