Solving Syrian crisis never comes from outside – Ilham Ahmad

RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – Interference of International parties in the Syrian affairs will not contribute to ending war in Syria, said Ilham Ahmad, President of the Executive Committee of Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) on Friday.

This came on the sidelines of the Raqqa Consultative Forum which is being held in the city of Raqqa, northern Syria.

The SDC is the political wing of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES). It was founded in 2015 and includes all the communities of north and east Syria.

“The solution to the Syrian crisis will not come from outside and the Syrian political national forces should work on solving this,” Ilham Ahmad added.

She pointed out that the consultative meetings among Syrian forces that believe in the political solution in Syria are an opportunity to develop a unified political position on the necessity of bringing the war to an end.

“Syrians are able to impose the political solution on the international community once they agree on a unified position,” the president of the SDC Executive Committee noted.
