Forces of government, opposition exchange shelling in Syria’s northwest

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The mutual shelling between the Turkish-backed opposition (SNA) factions and the government forces continued on Tuesday in several areas in northwest Syria.

“The government forces bombed the opposition factions’ posts sites in the villages and towns of al-Fatira, Kafr Aweid, Sufuhn, Kansafra, and the outskirts of the town of al-Bara in Zawiya Mountain, south of Idlib, with heavy artillery and rockets military,” opposition military sources told North Press.

“The government’s bombing also struck the villages and towns of Kafr Noran, Taqad, Kafr Ta’al, Sheikh Suleiman and Maklabis in the western countryside of Aleppo,” the sources added.

Meanwhile, al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room struck the government forces’ posts in the villages and towns of Hazarin, al-Dar Al-Kabira, and al-Malajah, south of Idlib, with artillery shells and missiles,” military sources in the opposition told North Press.

Areas in the de-escalation zone in the northwest of Syria continue to witness daily exchange of bombardment between the Turkish-backed opposition factions and the government forces.
