Turkish forces bombard Syria’s Hasakah countryside

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday evening, the Turkish forces renewed targeting the countryside of Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria, with heavy weapons.

“The Turkish forces bombed the Assyrian villages of Tel Shanan, al-Dardara, and Qubour al-Qarajneh, east and north of Tel Tamr town, with artillery and mortar shells,” a source in the Tel Tamr Military Council said.

Several shells fell near the Russian base, north of the town, according to the source.

The bombing resulted in only material damage to the residents’ property, the source added.

The countryside of Tel Tamr has been hit with heavy weapons by the Turkish forces and the affiliated opposition factions for days.
