Iraqi airstrikes kill ISIS members in Anbar

ERBIL, KRG, Iraq (North Press) – Three Islamic State Organization (ISIS) members were announced killed by the Iraqi army on Tuesday in Iraqi southern governorate of Anbar. 

The Iraqi air forces targeted a detachment of ISIS with F-16 fighter jet killing one ISIS member in the Shuaib Daye’ area in Anbar, the Iraqi Security Media Cell said in a statement.

Two other ISIS members were killed as the Iraqi aircrafts conducted two more airstrikes in the same scene, the statement said.

The airstrikes are part of the operations the Iraqi forces conduct to pursue ISIS sleeper cells, according to the statement.
