Syria’s northwest records 40 new coronavirus infections
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Council announced the recording of one death, 40 new cases of coronavirus and 134 recoveries in Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.
It indicated that it conducted tests for 844 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas in northwest Syria has risen to 92,698 including 2,274 deaths and 66,088 recoveries.
