Areas of northeast Syria bombed by Turkey and opposition factions

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – Turkish forces and the affiliate armed opposition factions bombed on Monday villages in the countryside of Tel Tamr and Ain Issa towns, north and northeast Syria.

The villages of Tawila and Tel Karabet, in Tel Tamr countryside, north of Hasakah, were hit by a barrage of artillery and mortars, a source of the Tel Tamr Military Council told North Press.

Only material damage was caused by the shelling, according the source which added that the aforementioned villages are still under sporadic bombing.

The Turkish bombing comes two days after its bombing of three villages on the contact lines in the countryside of Tel Tamr.

In a related context, one civilian was wounded in the bombing by Turkish forces and the opposition factions of the western countryside of Ain Issa and the M4 Highway, north of Raqqa, on Monday.

The town of Ain Issa and the western and eastern villages and other areas in northern Syria are continuously bombed by the Turkish forces and the affiliated opposition factions.
