Syria’s northwest records 55 new coronavirus infections
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Council announced the recording of 55 new cases of coronavirus, one death and 410 recoveries in Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.
It indicated that it conducted tests for 650 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas in northwest Syria has risen to 92,532 including 2,266 deaths and 64,370 recoveries.
