MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) in the city of Manbij, north Syria, announced on Wednesday that they arrested some people on charge of selling drugs in the city.
The Asayish said on its Facebook account that it had arrested three drug traffickers in the city, without revealing their names.
“About 140 narcotic pills, including Captagon pills, were confiscated, and the dealers were referred to the Prosecution and Investigation Committee to be punished by the law,” the Asayish added.
On October 20, the security forces in Manbij arrested a network of drug dealers and referred them to the judiciary.
