SDC demands international community to stand against Turkish invasion

QMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) released a statement calling the international community to make a strict stand against the Turkish offensive against areas in northeast Syria and the so-called flagrant violations in the de-escalation zone.

The statement condemned targeting a vehicle driving three civilians by a Turkish drone yesterday. The civilians, lost lives in the attack, were from a high-ranked Kurdish Syrian family known as Gulo family who lived in Qamishli city, northeast Syria.

“The attack is an apparent threat to the stability and security of northeast Syria’s regions,” the statement said.

The national democratic powers have to show condemnation against the Turkish offensive and counter the Turkish continuous threats to invade more Syrian lands, the statement added.

The SDC statement called on the international community to preserve stability in the region and impose no-fly zone in Syria’s northeast.
