Israeli warplanes hit targets near Damascus

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday morning, Israeli fighter jets fired few missiles that hit areas near the capital Damascus, Syrian state media SANA said.

The missiles were launched from the northern side of Palestine, targeted some Hezbollah points in Rif Dimashq governorate.

The Syrian army air defenses repelled the missiles, according to SANA.

The attack led to the injury of two Syrian soldiers and caused material damages.

This is a rare daytime Israeli attack on Syria, according to monitors.
