Syrian government sends military reinforcements to north Aleppo: Russian Agency

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Russian Anna-News Agency published a video clip of military vehicles, which it said were reinforcements for the Syrian government, heading to the areas of Tel Rifaat, in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

This comes after Turkish statements to launch a new military operation in northern Syria, which unofficial Turkish sources said it may target the Tel Rifaat area.

The reinforcements consisted of advanced T-90 tanks and BMP-2 armored vehicles, according to the Russian agency.

The reinforcements headed towards the villages of al-Malikiyah and Qalaat al-Shawargha, north of Aleppo, which are known as the line of fire. They are also the demarcation between the areas controlled by Turkish-backed opposition factions and the ones controlled by the government forces.
