Seven deaths, 298 coronavirus infections in Syrian government-held areas
Qamishli, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the media office of the Syrian Ministry of Health recorded seven deaths and 298 new coronavirus infections in its areas of control.
The deaths were two each in Aleppo and Latakia, and one each in Damascus, Suwayda and Hama.
Meanwhile, the media office announced 73 new recoveries.
The new cases were 80 in Latakia, 66 in Aleppo, 47 in Suwayda, 41 in Hasakah, 25 in Damascus, 21 in Daraa, 15 in Homs, and three in Deir ez-Zor.
The total toll of the confirmed infections in the government-held areas has come up to 38,365, including 2,382 deaths and 24,873 recoveries.
