Syria’s AANES records 269 coronavirus infections
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, the Health Board of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) recorded 269 new coronavirus infections and 12 deaths in its areas in Syria’s northeast.
The deaths were two men and a woman in Hasakah, two men and two women in Qamishli, a woman in Derik, a man and a woman in Raqqa, and a man and a woman in Tabqa. the Health Board announced.
The new cases were 59 in Raqqa, 50 in Hasakah, 45 in Deir ez-Zor, 43 in Qamishli, 30 in Derbasiyah, 17 in Derik, nine in Amuda, four each in Jil Agha and Gerke Lege, one each in Kobani, Tabqa, Manbij and Hawl Camp, and two in Shaba in Aleppo northern countryside.
The AANES Health Board also recorded 11 new recoveries.
The total toll of the coronavirus infections in the areas of the AANES has come up to 30,569 including 1,038 deaths and 2,269 recoveries.
