For third consecutive day, Turkey bombs Syria’s Hasakah

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – For the third consecutive day, Turkish forces have continued targeting the countryside of Tel Tamr town, north of Hasakah, northeastern Syria, with artillery shells.

The Turkish forces targeted the village of al-Dardara, north of Tel Tamr, with a barrage of artillery shells, a source of the Tel Tamr Military Council said

The shelling left material damage to the civilian residents’ homes, the source added. 

Recently, the villages of the countryside of Tel Tamr have been repeatedly bombed by the Turkish forces and the affiliated armed opposition factions.

In the past two days, the Turkish bombardment of the Assyrian villages on the banks of the al-Khabour River, Tel Tawil, Tel Keifji, Tel Jum’a and Tel Shnan, caused the destruction of dozens of houses and damage to educational facilities, power lines and graves in the Tel Shanan cemetery.
