Crisis Management Team of Syria’s AANES lifts complete lockdown on its areas

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, Crisis Management Team in the Jazira Region lifted the complete lockdown imposed on all cities of Syria’s northeast on September 23.

On October 2, the Crisis Management Team extended the lockdown for other seven days starting.

The decision to lift the complete lockdown followed a meeting of the Crisis Management Team in the Jazira Region today.

The Crisis Management Team said on its official website that they decided to “lift the complete lockdown in all areas of the Jazira Region stressing the importance of complying with personal hygiene and physical distancing.”

“Wearing face masks is a must under penalty of violation with a fine of 2,000 SYP for persons, and 10,000 SYP for shops and clinics,” the team added.

The Crisis Management Team called the population to get vaccination against Covid-19 in the centers designated for distributing the vaccine.
