AANES calls on all Syrian parties to cooperate for peace and stability

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) called for the cooperation of all Syrian parties to work on stability and peace in the country.

This came in a statement by the AANES on the occasion of the International Day of Peace, which marks September 21. The statement said that the lack of commitment to peace standards “stems from the preference of some parties for their political agendas” over the security and stability of the country.

“The policies of occupation, violations, and support for terrorism and extremism pose great dangers to peace,” the statement added.

The Autonomous Administration believes that “the time has come” for all sides to cooperate for peace and do their duty towards that, expressing its full commitment in this regard.

The statement pointed out that the way to solution in Syria is to “consider dialogue and the Syrian national consensus as a basis for stability. These endeavors must be developed to be included at the regional level.”
