Iranian militias in Syria receive military, medical equipment

DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, five trucks carrying medical materials and military equipment for pro-Iranian militias arrived from Iraq through the railway crossing, towards the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor which is under the control of government forces.

The equipment will be distributed to the headquarters of Liwa Fatemiyoun and Iraqi Hezbollah, which are stationed on the outskirts of the cities of al-Mayadin and Abu Kamal in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

Ali Hassan (a pseudonym), a member of Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, said that the trucks contained medical equipment, medicines, basic food, and logistics. Three trucks contained medium and light ammunition, which will be distributed to military headquarters and points at a later time.

The same source indicated that the trucks were provided by the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces.

Since the middle of July, this is the first batch that reaches the Iranian militias in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, through the railway crossing, which is under the control of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces.
