Turkish Army bombs Syria’s Tel Tamr countryside
TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the Turkish army and the affiliated armed opposition groups targeted the countryside of the town of Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria, with heavy weapons.
North Press correspondent quoted residents of the area saying, the Turkish bombing targeted the village of al-Arisha, on M4 Highway, west of Tel Tamr.
The Turkish forces used mortars and artillery shells during bombing, a military source of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the area said.
However, North Press has been unable to determine the losses due to the bombing so far.
The Turkish bombardment on al-Arisha came three days after a similar bombardment on the village of al-Gozaliya, adjacent to the front lines west of Tel Tamr, which resulted in the death of 18 sheep and material damage to civilian property.
