Coronavirus vaccination starts in Syria’s Tel Abyad Camp
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the process of vaccinating the medical and administrative staff against coronavirus started in Tel Abyad IDP Camp.
“We coordinated with Autonomous Administration Health Board and Health Committee of Raqqa Council to provide Tel Abyad camp with coronavirus vaccines,” Jawish Hassan, an official at Tel Abyad camp told North Press.
“100 vaccines were initially brought in to vaccinate medical and administrative staff, and those who are over 55 years old in addition to those with chronic diseases,” he added.
Hassan pointed out that they we will coordinate with management to bring more vaccines to cover the whole camp.
On June 8, the Health committee of Raqqa Civil Council started the vaccination process in Saif al-Dawla Health center, in the city of Raqqa.
