Syria’s AANES records more than 100 new coronavirus infections

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Health Board of Autonomous Administration announced the record of four deaths and 105 new infections with the Coronavirus in the regions of northeast Syria.

The official account of the Autonomous Administration on Facebook cited Jiwan Mustafa, co-chair of the Health Board, saying that the deaths were three women from Tabqa and a man from Hawl Camp.

The infections recorded were 24 in Raqqa, 20 in Tabqa, and 19 in Qamishli.  

The rest of the infections were 12 in Hasakah, seven in Derik, four in Girke Lege, three in Derbasiya, three in Kobani, six in Manbij, six in Hawl Camp, and one in Amuda.  

The Health Board also recorded the recovery of two cases of previously recorded infections.

The number of coronavirus infections in northeast Syria has reached 18,166, including 741 deaths and 1,839 recoveries.
