Syrian government forces bomb camp, positions of opposition groups in Idlib

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, a military source from the opposition said that the Syrian government forces bombed a camp in Idlib countryside, northwestern Syria, in addition to sites of the Turkish-backed armed groups with artillery shells.

The bombing targeted the al-Abrar Camp, located near the village of Ta’um, northeast of Idlib, without causing any civilian casualties, the source added.

The government forces’ bombardment also targeted armed groups’ positions in Sufuhun, al-Fatira in the southern countryside of Idlib, the towns of al-Ankawi, al-Ziyara, west of Hama, and al-Tuffahiya, north of Latakia, with rocket launchers and heavy artillery shells according to the source.

The bombing coincided with an intense flight of drones and warplanes over the area.

Today at dawn, the Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room, which includes Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and the Army of Glory, as well as the National Front for Liberation affiliated with the National Army, announced the targeting of military posts of government forces in al-Zawiya Mountain.

On Tuesday, a child was killed and others were wounded during the bombing of the government forces on armed groups’ sites south of Idlib.
