Explosion kills 7 members of Syrian government forces in Hama

HAMA, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, seven members of the Syrian government forces were killed in a landmine explosion in Salamiyah countryside, east of Hama, central Syria.

A landmine left behind by the Islamic State (ISIS) exploded in an agricultural land in Salamiyah countryside, field sources told North Press.

The explosion killed seven members of the government forces, and the bodies were taken to Salamiyah National Hospital, the source added.

In May, a child girl lost her life and three other civilians were injured when two landmines of war remnants exploded in the same area.
