Government forces bomb opposition groups in Syria’s Hama

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Syrian government forces targeted the opposition sites in northwest Syria with artillery shells and rocket launchers.

The government forces bombed the towns of Ghab Plain in the western countryside of Hama, military sources from the opposition said.

The bombing targeted the towns and villages of Zawiya Mountain in the southern countryside of Idlib, especially the towns of Kansafra, al-Fatira and al-Bara, the sources added.

The bombing coincided with intense flight of Russian warplanes and drones over the countryside of Idlib, Hama, Latakia and Aleppo.

The military escalation within the de-escalation zone between the Syrian government and Turkish-backed armed groups comes despite the ceasefire validity that entered its second year.
