ISIS members arrested in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested four members of ISIS cells in a town east of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria.
A military source from the SDF in the town of al-Hawaij (45 km) east of Deir ez-Zor said the SDF raided on Sunday dawn several neighborhoods in the town of al-Hawaij and seized mobile phones and machine guns ISIS members had in their possession.
The Syrian Democratic Forces have been intensifying their security campaigns on the villages and towns of the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, to pursue ISIS cells.
Five days ago, the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested three members of ISIS cells in the town of Shuhail, east of Deir ez-Zor.
