Coronavirus infects 73 in northeast Syria
HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the Health Board of the Autonomous Administration announced the recording of five deaths and 73 new cases of coronavirus in the regions of northeast Syria.
The official Autonomous Administration account on Facebook cited the co-chair of the Health Board, Jiwan Mustafa, saying that the deaths were “a man from Qamishli and two men and two women from Manbij.”
Most of the infections today were 17 in Raqqa and 16 in Tabqa. The rest of the infections were as the following: six cases in Hasakah, four in Qamishli, five in Derik, eleven in Deir ez-Zor, four in Kobani, two in Derbasiya, five in Manbij, two cases in Roj Camp, and one case in Newroz Camp.
The Health Board also recorded the recovery of twelve cases of the previously recorded infections.
The number of Coronavirus cases in northeast Syria has risen to 16,774, including 682 deaths and 1,730 recoveries.
