21 new coronavirus cases recorded in northwest Syria
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Coalition announced the recording of 21 new cases of coronavirus in northwest Syria.
On its official account on the Internet, the Interim Government said that it recorded 21 cases of the virus and 9 recoveries.
It indicated that it had conducted tests for 322 suspected cases in Idlib and Aleppo regions.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 21,983 including 653 deaths and 19,955 recoveries.
On Thursday, Syria’s northwest areas recorded 30 new coronavirus infections.
