Circular prohibits sale, storage of relief materials in Syria’s Aleppo countryside

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Local Council of the Turkish-backed armed groups in the city of al-Bab in the northern countryside of Syria’s Aleppo issued a circular prohibiting the sale and storage of relief materials.

The Local Council published on its official Facebook account that it prohibits the sale, purchase, storage or transfer of relief materials.

The circular mentioned that it will monitor all warehouses and shops by patrols that will confiscate the materials and refer the violator to the competent authorities for accountability.

Al-Bab is experiencing popular discontent as a result of the deterioration of the living situation and the unprecedented rise in the prices of basic materials, according to media reports.

Al-Bab, 30 kilometers from the Turkish border, has been under the control of pro-Turkish armed groups since 2016.
