IED explosion leaves material losses in Syria’s Aleppo countryside
ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday evening, an IED that was planted inside a Turkish shipping truck exploded, causing a massive fire near the town of Qabasin on the outskirts of Bab city, east Aleppo countryside.
The explosion occurred near Uthman ibn Affan Mosque, east Bab, as a result of an IED that was planted under a Turkish truck, which was parking near the crossroad of Qabasin town, a local source told North Press.
The source pointed out that the explosion left massive material losses to the surrounding shops reporting no human casualties.
Turkey and Turkish-backed armed groups have been running the city of Bab, 30 kilometers from the Turkish border, since 2017.
On March 20, a civilian lost his life and six others were wounded due to an IED explosion that was planted inside a warehouse for shipping goods on the outskirts of Bab city.
