IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, a militant of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS, formerly al-Nusra Front) was killed by unknown individuals north of Syria’s Idlib.
HTS-held areas in northwest Syria are witnessing security chaos including IED bombings, assassinations, and armed attacks against leaders of the armed groups.
Local sources told North Press that unknown individuals who were riding a motorbike fired at an HTS member near the town of Salwah, north of Idlib.
The attack killed Ahmed Haj Issa on his way back from the headquarters of the group south of Idlib.
On Thursday, two HTS militants were killed by unknown individuals who fired at him in the town of Termanin, northeast Idlib.
