Syria’s opposition-held areas record 9 new coronavirus infections
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded nine coronavirus infections in northwest Syria.
The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that the number of recent recoveries reached nine and it has tested 273 suspected cases reporting no deaths.
On March 18, the Interim Government recorded 4 coronavirus infected cases and 20 recoveries.
With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,226 including 637 deaths and about 19,224 recoveries.
