Semalka crossing with KRG, northeast Syria closes for Nawroz Day

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday, the administration of Semalka border crossing between the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) and the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq (KRG), declared through its official Facebook account, that the crossing would be closed for two days starting from Saturday, March 20, 2021 on the occasion of  Nawroz Day.

“Trading works through the crossing will start on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.”

The crossing’s administration pointed out that the work of the Relations Office would resume on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
