One coronavirus case recorded in northwest Syria
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, the Syrian Interim Government, a Syrian opposition government based in Turkey and associated with the Syrian National Coalition, recorded one coronavirus infections in northwest Syria.
The number of coronavirus infections has declined in northwest Syria, according to numbers released by the Interim Government since mid-January.
The Interim Government announced through spreadsheets on its official website that the number of recent recoveries reached 21 and it has tested 599 suspected cases reporting no deaths.
On Wednesday, the Interim Government had not recorded any coronavirus infections; while seven coronavirus recoveries were recorded.
With the new cases, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-held areas has risen to 21,215, including 637 deaths and about 19,147 recoveries.
