Turkish border guard kill child in Syria’s Hasakah

DERBASIYA, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, a child lost his life from the town of Abu Rasin (Zarkan), north of the city of Hasakah, northeast Syria, by Turkish border guards while trying to cross the border into the Turkish territory with his family.

“The 11-year-old child, Adel Abdelaziz, a resident of Khazma village in the countryside of Abu Rasin town, died while trying to cross the border with his family near the village of Faqira in the countryside of Derbasiya,” local sources told North Press.

“The child lost his life as a result of his wounds,” the source added.

On March 4, the Turkish border guards killed a 12-year-old child in Idlib countryside, northwest Syria, while playing in front of his house.

The Turkish border guards’ killings of civilians who try to cross the border have become frequent.
