Syria’s AANES Foreign Relations Office receives US delegation
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press)- On Wednesday, a high-profile US delegation, headed by US Deputy Special Envoy for Syria Mr. David Brownstein, visited the Foreign Relations Office of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) in the city of Qamishli.
The Foreign Relations Office, headed by co-chair Abdulkarim Omar, received Mr. David Brownstein and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed the Syrian situation in general, the situation in northeast Syria in particular, and the means for a political solution in Syria.
They stressed the importance of the role of the Global Coalition in all political, economic, security, and humanitarian aspects in the region.
