Woman attempts to burn self, child in Syria’s Hawl Camp

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, a woman tried to burn herself and her young son in the fourth sector of Hawl Camp. Neighbors put out the fire and transferred her via the Kurdish Red Crescent to hospital in Hasakah due to the seriousness of the situation.

The woman’s tent was near al-Mar Yaqoub in the fourth section.

The woman is reportedly around 20 years of age, and her one-year-old child is in stable condition.
