No upcoming military operation: Turkish military to Idlib
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The Turkish military distributed pamphlets in the city of Ariha, northwestern Syria, on Tuesday, which stated that the reason for its presence in the region is to prevent any military invasion.
“The Turkish army aims to prevent any invasion of Idlib,” said the paper pamphlets that were later posted on social media.

The papers denied what the Syrian government claimed about the approach of a battle for Idlib, and called for residents to not believe such news.
The Turkish pamphlets came 24 hours after a shelling by government forces on Ariha which inflicted civilian casualties.
On Tuesday morning, government forces targeted villages and towns southern Idlib amid the flight of reconnaissance aircraft.
Since July, military escalation has been taking place in the region after targeting of a joint Russian-Turkish patrol in western Ariha, which led to the injury of Russian troops.
