Israeli forces in search for a Palestinian over the car-ramming attack in Jerusalem

The Israeli forces stormed the cities of Bethlehem and Beit Jala and spread out in the streets, on Thursday morning, to take hold of the surveillance cameras from the shops in search of a Palestinian accused of carrying out the car-ramming attack, which took place last night in Jerusalem and resulted in the injury of 14 Israeli soldiers, one of whom seriously wounded.

As clashes took place in the streets of the city of Bethlehem between the Palestinian young men and the Israeli soldiers, who fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the demonstrators, no injuries were reported so far.

 
This development comes after 14 Israeli soldiers of the Israeli “Golani” Brigade were wounded as a result of the car-ramming attack near the station complex in Jerusalem last night, where the condition of one of them was described as serious and another as moderate, according to “Makan” radio station, which said that the attacker managed to escape and leave the place to the south of Jerusalem, towards the Bethlehem governorate.

Moreover, Initial Israeli investigations found that the vehicle initially hit an Israeli soldier and then ran over others before its driver ran off to the south, and the vehicle was found near Bethlehem, while the Israeli forces launched an intensive search for the perpetrator.

Furthermore,  the cities of Hebron and Jenin witnessed events that led to the killing of two Palestinian boys in less than twenty-four hours.

The residents of the city of Jenin mourned the body of the 19-year-old Yazan Munzer Abu Tabikh, on Thursday, who was shot dead by the Israeli army in the wake of the storming of the city to demolish the house of the Palestinian prisoner Ahmad Abu al-Qamba.

Prior to that, the 17-year-old Muhammad al-Haddad, was killed during clashes in the city of Hebron, on Wednesday afternoon.

According to information obtained by North-Press, the Palestinian whom the Israeli army is searching for and is accused of the car-ramming attack against its soldiers in Jerusalem, is already known to the army.
