An international NGO has cut its medical support in Syria, while the Russian and Syrian fighter jets continue targeting various locations in the de-escalation zones northwestern Syria causing more human casualties.
The German organization “GIZ” has stopped paying salaries of the medical staff working in hospitals and field medical centers in the areas controlled by the armed opposition groups in northern Syria.
While the Directorate of Health in Idlib had assured “the suspension of the current project to enable the directorates of health supported by the donor” 72 hours ago, adding that it will continue “paying salaries to the medical staff for the upcoming three months from the date of suspension of support, according to the previously signed agreement with the donor and the policies that rule them”.
Whereas the areas of Morek, Kafr Zita, Latmin and Zakat in the northern countryside of Hama, the village of Al-Kassibiya in the southern countryside of Aleppo, the ICARDA district southern Aleppo, Kansafrah in the south of Idlib and the town of Kafriya in the northeastern countryside of Idlib were targeted by Syrian and Russian airstrikes causing death and injuries to a number of civilians.
North-Press reporter in the region indicated that a man and a pregnant woman were killed and more than 12 people were injured, including 7 children, in the raids on the town of Kafriya, in addition to injuries in Kafr Zita, while the number of civilian casualties increased to 9 during the morning raids on Khan Shaykhoun, two families including two women and 5 children.
While the armed opposition groups targeted areas in the village of Al-Jarniya in the western countryside of Hama, and the area of Hayalin in the countryside of Hama, amid reports of human losses and injuries among the Syrian government forces.
