The Syrian government forces have shelled areas in Hama countryside, coincided with the armed opposition groups’ bombardment of Syrian positions, amid reports of Syrian government military reinforcements, in parallel with the arrival of new Turkish reinforcements to the borderline with Aleppo.
The Syrian and Russian fighter jets targeted areas in the town of Khan Shaykhun, southern countryside of Idlib, as well as the areas of Morek, Kafr Zita and Tal Meleh in the northern countryside of Hama, while the armed opposition groups targeted al-Shariaa area in al-Ghab plain in Hama countryside.
The Syrian government forces have also targeted the areas of Deir Sunbul, Sahriyah, Hawija, Hawash, Tal al-Sakhr, Al Arbaeen, Tal Meleh, and Jabeen in the northern and north-western countryside of Hama, with no reports about casualties so far.
While local opposition media outlets reported that the Syrian government reinforcements had reached the contact lines and fronts with the opposition areas in northwestern Syria, amid fears of a new military campaign in the axes of north-west Hama governorate, in an attempt to expand its advance.
Furthermore, a new batch of Turkish military reinforcements had also arrived at the border areas adjacent to the northern Aleppo countryside, within a series of military reinforcements carried out by the Turkish forces in the area.
The “Response Coordinators Team” in northern Syria had documented the targeting of 63 hospitals and medical points, 91 educational building, 8 IDP camps and about 27 bakeries and popular markets in various areas in Idlib, Hama, Aleppo, Latakia and dozens of other sites of the rescue team centers, power stations and water pumping stations.
The team also monitored the rise of the number of IDPs up to 654,717, heading to northern Idlib, areas close to the Syrian-Turkish borders, areas of Olive Branch forces in Afrin and the Euphrates Shield in the north and north-eastern Aleppo countryside, since the beginning of February.
